Trash Pick-up

Home

Trash pick-up is Thursday morning (unless a weekday holiday delays it to Friday).   Warrenville requires residents to set their trash at the curb (in approved containers) after 6 PM the night before collection day. The containers must be removed by 7 PM on the day trash is picked up.  Be sure to secure / cover trash containers  to prevent trash from being blown into neighboring yards.  Loose trash attracts wild life (raccoons, rodents, etc.).  The ordinance addressing this matter is below; with penalty provisions.

Your address should be written of your trash containers.

If you have large items; construction material or an unusually large amount of general trash call the Hillcrest hot line 630-627-3303 at least five days before putting it at the curb.  This will give us time to confirm the pick-up.  An owner will be charged for such trash pick-ups based on approximate cubic yards left at curb.

Appliances (washer/dryer/etc.) are $45 each. Carpeting is $13 per cubic yard (3-cubic yard minimum).  Our refuse firm does not take electronic waste ( printers, computers, monitors, cell phones, etc. ). See www.groot.com for disposal information.  (Naperville Recycling Drop-Off: Tuesday & Thursday 8 am to 4 pm  180 Fort Hill Dr., 630-420-6095)

If your trash includes large upholstered furniture, please cover it with a waterproof plastic sheet, and secure it to the item if there is a chance of precipitation while it is at the curb, waiting for pick-up.
